This year the Spring YP Conference will be held sub-regionally. The church in Atlanta will join the conference held in Athens this year.

DATES: Friday, April 19 through Lord’s Day, April 21, 2024

LOCATION: Meeting Hall of the Church in Athens

ATTENDEES: Students in grades 7-12 and serving ones

REGISTRATION:

• The registration deadline is Lord’s Day, March 31.

• The cost is $100 for each student and serving one.

• Each person will register individually at: https://bit.ly/24athypconf

• There are no refunds or late registrations after March 31. Cancellations prior to March 31 will be refunded less the processing fee of $3. Those who miss the deadline can put their name on a waiting list and if a spot opens up, we will notify you.

FORMS:

• Students must complete the consecration, medical/liability release, and photo release forms (included in the online registration process).

• Each serving one must also register and submit the release of liability and photo release forms (included in the online registration process).

SERVING ONES:

Provide one serving one for every three young people attending, serving brothers for boys and serving sisters for girls. Serving ones should plan to provide transportation for the young people while in Athens.

Serving ones must complete a background check once every three years. You can submit a form for a background check at: www.ministryopportunities.org/SEYPW

ARRIVAL:

• Registration Friday 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm

• First Meeting Friday 7:00 pm

• Please eat dinner before arriving at the camp for registration.

• Please inform registration as soon as you know you will be late or anyone cancels.

DEPARTURE: The last conference meeting ends on Lord’s Day at 12:00.

THINGS TO BRING:

• Recovery Version of the Bible with footnotes

• Attire according to the Consecration Agreement:

  • Brothers: Long- or short-sleeved shirt with long pants

  • Sisters: Top with sleeves and proper neckline; long pants or knee-length skirt.

  • Recreation: Shorts permitted, t-shirts

  • No tank-tops at any time, except to wear to bed

• Bring all personal items including towel, toiletries, etc.

• All YP: bring your own sleeping bag and pillow
